Managing donations and customer purchases can be challenging! We work hard every day to keep our retail areas neat, clean and ready to sell. We love when volunteers help us manage donations, serve shoppers, and be a part of our year-round fundraiser. Although volunteers at the ReStore aren’t actually swinging a hammer to build someone’s Habitat home, they are helping us make it a better ReStore each day so we can afford to keep building! Spend all day with us or just a couple of hours, whatever your schedule allows! Below is some FAQ about volunteering at the ReStore.

who can volunteer?
The Habitat ReStore accepts volunteers age 16 and older. Those who are 16 and 17 must have a minor waiver completed on their behalf by a parent or guardian prior to volunteering. Volunteers 18 and older must complete an adult waiver.
WHEN CAN I VOLUNTEER?
Volunteer hours are the same as the ReStore hours of operation: Tuesday thru Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hours are flexible, the Volunteer Administrator will work with you to find a time that works best for you and the ReStore.
WHAT WILL I DO?
Volunteers help us keep a clean, organized ReStore to create a fantastic shopping experience and a positive donor experience. Duties, just like our merchandise, change daily, but generally involve cleaning, loading, and testing donations.
WHAT IF I AM COURT ORDERED?
The Habitat ReStore accepts court-ordered community service volunteers on a case-by-case basis. To get started, call Justin at 864.375-1177 ext. 1005.
